Baseball: Fenton, Glenbard East, Neuqua Valley win

Fenton 3, Glenbard South 2:

Trailing 2-1 heading to the bottom of the seventh, the Bison (2-7, 1-4) rallied for a walk-off Metro Suburban Conference victory. Carlos Mercado tied it with an RBI single and Ivan Lozada won it with another run-scoring single. Winning pitcher Tim Beecroft went 2-for-3.

Glenbard East 4, Lake Park 3:

The Rams (7-4) scored twice in the fifth inning for the come-from-behind victory. Taylor Westerhoff had 2 hits while Jacob Bailey and Jack Crackel combined on the mound. Casey Berner homered for Lake Park (6-3).

Neuqua Valley 11, Waubonsie Valley 2:

A 5-run bottom of the fourth inning allowed the Wildcats (9-0, 4-0) to pull away for the DuPage Valley Conference victory. Evan Ranneklev, who drove in 2 runs, Noah Herdman, Jack Rigoni, Nick Taylor and Jake Wenz had 2 hits. Zach Wenz won on the mound. Zach Laws and Cole Gregorio went 2-for-4 for Waubonsie Valley (2-8, 1-3).

WW South 11, Glenbard North 7:

Kendall Simpson went 3-for-5 with 2 triples and 2 RBI for the Tigers (4-5, 2-3) in the DuPage Valley Conference. Matt Brennan had 2 hits and 3 RBI while Joe Adamek drove in 2 runs. Winning pitcher Mike Meissner allowed 2 hits in 4 innings. Guiseppe Riggio drove in 2 runs for Glenbard North (4-6, 0-5).

Wheaton North 8, Naperville North 1:

Chase Langford allowed 2 hits in 6⅓ innings and struck out four for the Falcons (7-3, 3-0 DuPage Valley). Joe Klein, who had 3 RBI, Jay Gail, Sam Hacker and Connor Olson all had 2 hits. Jared Dunnett doubled in a run for Naperville North (6-3, 0-2).
