NFL preseason schedule announced for Chicago Bears

The new phone books are in, and so is the NFL's preseason schedule.

Starting with the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, against the Baltimore Ravens at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2, the Bears play all five of their preseason games against AFC opponents, including head coach Matt Nagy's former team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Only the nationally televised preseason games have exact dates and times for now; the specific dates and times for the Bears' final four preseason games are expected next month.

The Bears will play their second preseason game against the Bengals in Cincinnati between Aug. 9-13. The following week (Aug. 16-20), they face the Broncos in Denver. Nagy faces his old team at Soldier Field (Aug. 23-26), and the Bears conclude the preseason by hosting the Bills (Aug. 30-31).

The times and dates for the regular-season schedule should be released later this month, but the opponents are already known. In addition to their home-and-home games against their NFC North foes, the Packers, Lions and Vikings, the Bears host the Rams, Patriots, Jets, Seahawks and Buccaneers. They have road games against the Cardinals, Bills, Dolphins, Giants and 49ers.
