Boys track: Hoffman Estates' Rustay sprints to Top Times triumph

Hoffman Estates senior Declan Rustay sprinted to victory in the Illinois Top Times Invitational in Bloomington on Saturday.

Rustay, the defending outdoors state champ in both the 100 and 200 meters, won the Class 3A 60-meter dash in 6.93, just ahead of Huntley senior Anikamadu Dubem (6.95).

Rustay also placed second in the 200, finishing in 22.22. Plainfield North sophomore Marcellus Moore won in 21.61, breaking the meet record held by Lake Park's Anthony Moorman.

Rolling Meadows senior William Rezny came up with a third-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 58 feet, 1.25 inches.
