Versluys breaks Westminster scoring record

On Senior Night at Westminster Christian Saturday, Ben Versluys made the most of the opportunity.

Versluys scored a school record 38 points to lead the Warriors' boys basketball team to as 76-64 overtime win over South Beloit, wrapping up second place in the Northeastern Athletic Conference for Westminster.

Jordan Warrener added 14 points to the win and Nate Hoersch had 8 for the Warriors (19-6, 9-1), who open the postseason Tuesday against Leland at the Class 1A Serena regional.
