St. Charles North rolls past Elgin

Annie Tate scored 15 points Thursday night to lead the St. Charles North girls basketball team to a 59-32 Upstate Eight River win over Elgin.

Anna Davern added 14 points for the North Stars (12-10, 5-4) while Kamiya Harvey led Elgin (4-21, 0-10) with 13 points.

Rosary 55, Newark 29: Jenna Hernandez had 11 points and Sophia Kramer added 10 to lead Rosary (14-8) to this nonconference win.

ACC 45, Wheaton Academy 36: In the Metro Suburban Blue, Delani Kosner had 14 points and Alexis Camp 9 for Aurora Central Catholic (14-10, 6-3).

Westminster Christian 37, Christian Liberty 26: Elise Van Noord scored 16 points and had 5 rebounds for Westminster in its Northeastern Athletic Conference win. Sophie Kovachevich (8 points, 5 rebounds) and Grace Schmitt (8 rebounds) also contributed for the Warriors (6-12, 2-6).
