Cabusao, Schwartz lead Jacobs to win

The Jacobs girls basketball team posted their second straight win Monday by downing Hoffman Estates 36-29 in nonconference action. The tandem of Kyra Cabusao, who led the Golden Eagles (7-14) with 15 points, and Elizabeth Schwartz's 14 points offset the Hawks by themselves combining for 29 points.

Aurora Christian 71, Christian Life 12: Tori Henning sank 5 three-pointers and scored a career-high 31 points in a big win for the Eagles in Northeastern Athletic action. Alexandra Fry hit 2 threes and totaled 10 points for AC (12-7, 4-1), who bounced back from a loss against Wheaton Academy by jumping out to a 49-4 lead at halftime.

Harvest Christian 64, Schaumburg Christian 14: Alyssa Iverson's 13 points and 5 steals helped the Lions (22-4, 7-0) stay undefeated in the NAC. Isamar Garcia added 12 points while 10 players made it into the scoring column for Harvest, who won its sixth straight.
