Hampshire, Dundee-Crown notch FVC wins
Lauren Herrmann scored 21 points Wednesday night as the Hampshire girls basketball team downed Jacobs 45-39 in a Fox Valley Conference game.
Kelby Bannerman added 15 points for the Whip-Purs (10-11, 5-5).
Kyra Cabusao led Jacobs (6-13, 4-6) with 12 points while Elizabeth Schwartz added 11 and Kerri Healy had 9.
Dundee-Crown 44, CL South 30: Maddie Tripp had 10 points and Gianine Boado 8 for D-C (12-7, 7-3) in this FVC game. Brooke Kuffel led Crystal Lake South (6-13, 1-7) with 10 points and Lauren Schoen added 9.
Bartlett 42, East Aurora 29: Kayla Hare had 19 points and Savannah Standefer added 10 to lead Bartlett (12-9, 4-0) to an Upstate Eight Valley win.
