Streamwood picks up two more wins at Lake Zurich

Balanced scoring led the Streamwood boys basketball team to two wins at the Lake Zurich MLK Classic Monday, and with those two victories the Sabres eclipsed last season's win total under sixth-year head coach Paul Kowalyszyn.

Lamont Cole (15 points), Keenon Cole (13) and Nik Sinik (11) led the Sabres past Palatine 54-49 in their first game of the day.

Streamwood (10-12) then came back with a 70-50 win over Mundelein behind 13 points from Keenon Cole. Brendon Marton and DeAngelo Flynn added 9 points each to the win while Lamont Cole had 8.

Morton 73, Huntley 58 (OT): Cory Knipp had 17 points, Uchenna Egekeze 13 and Ryan Sroka 10 for Huntley in its first game of the day at WW South.

Warren 52, Huntley 48: In their final game at WWS, Davis Pasco led the Red Raiders (4-14) with 14 points and Cory Knipp added 11.
