Aurora Christian wins State Farm Classic title

All-tournament selection Jake Wolfe hit for 21 points Saturday to lead the Aurora Christian boys basketball team to a 61-59 overtime win against Bloomington Central Catholic in the championship game of the small school State Farm Classic at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center in Bloomington.

Taaj Davis and Will Wolfe added 18 points each for the Eagles, who closed out the 2017 portion of their schedule undefeated at 13-0.

South Elgin 79, West Chicago 57: Drake Montgomery had 21 points and 9 rebounds while Vincent Mizskiewic added 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Storm (9-3) to a win in the fifth place game at the Chuck Dayton Classic in DeKalb. Trace Ashby (13 points) and Noah Rohr (9) also contributed.

Chicago Vocational 60, Marmion 48: In the consolation championship game at the Dayton, Jon Reid led the Cadets (7-9) with 12 points while Tommy Surges added 9 points and Mick Sullivan had 8 points and 12 rebounds.

Huntley 52, Chicago Douglass 41: The Red Raiders got 13 points from Cory Knipp and 8 each from Patrick Roppolo, Ryan Sroka and Uchenna Egekeze to win this consolation bracket game at the Dayton.

Hampshire 69, ACE Tech 41: The Whip-Purs (3-9) salvaged a win on the final day of the Dayton Classic in DeKalb behind 9 points from Justin Anderson and 8 each from Collin Woods, Kyle Johnson and Marcus Lazar.

Kaneland 50, Mendota 36: Blake Feiza scored 20 points and Matt Olson added 12 to lead the Knights (5-8) to the consolation title at the Plano Christmas Classic.

Grayslake Central 63, Dundee-Crown 51: At the Wheeling Hardwood Classic, Gabe Bergeron scored 28 points for Dundee-Crown (6-7).
