Dundee-Crown dumps Cary-Grove

Freshman Gianine Boado scored a game-high 15 points Thursday night to lead Dundee-Crown to a 46-39 Fox Valley Conference girls basketball victory over Cary-Grove.

Kennedy White added 10 points for the Chargers (4-2, 2-0) and Maddie Tripp had 8.

Allison Raupp led Cary-Grove (4-3, 1-1) with 13 points while Katie Sowa added 8.

Batavia 51, Elgin 34: In the Upstate Eight River, Ava Sergio had 15 points to lead Batavia (4-3, 2-0) to the win. Morgan Haug added 9 points for the Bulldogs and Erin Golden had 8. Kylie Graves led Elgin (0-6, 0-1) with 10 points while Makenna Downing added 8 and Kimiya Harvey had 7.

St. Edward 70, Guerin 20: Yssa Sto. Domingo scored 15 points while Madison Knott and Haley Niehaus added 9 each for St. Edward (3-3, 2-0) in this Metro Suburban Red win. Mariel Franco also contributed 8 points for the Green Wave.

Bartlett 71, Oswego 46: Freshman Lexie Sinclair's 22 points led Bartlett (4-2) to this nonconference win. Kayla Hare added 18 points for the Hawks.

Glenbard East 24, Streamwood 20: Andrea Bracy had 8 points for Streamwood (0-6) in this Upstate Eight crossover loss.
