Grayslake Central 2, Grayslake North 0: Senior Seb Hinestrosa had a goal and an assist to help Grayslake Central get a win in the crosstown rivalry game.

Hinestrosa now has 5 goals and 6 assists on the season.

Senior goalkeeper Greg Madjarov got his third shutout of the season with 2 saves.

"Grayslake North applied strong pressure throughout the game to force us to play quickly, but I thought we did a good job of matching their intensity and keeping their backline honest," Grayslake Central coach Tom Hamilton said. "We missed several quality chances that allowed them to come back into the game in the second half for a spell when they started winning the 50-50 battles, but credit to our backline for a strong and organized performance to keep the clean sheet."

Deerfield 3, Antioch 0: Antioch goalie Ian Gugel had 2 saves as the Sequoits suffered a nonconference setback.
