Girls volleyball: Kaneland falls to LaSalle-Peru

Katie Jablonski and Sheika Mushunduzi had 10 kills each but Kaneland's girls volleyball team lost a tough 3-set match to LaSalle-Peru Thursday night, 26-24, 16-25, 25-20, in a Northern Illinois Big XII crossover.

Also contributing for the Knights (17-5) were Natalie Kraemer (6 kills), Shelby Hannula (18 assists), Sydney Fedderly (11 assists) and Julianna Vassallo (19 digs). Jablonski also added 20 digs.

CL South d. Dundee-Crown: Jenna Brown had 5 kills and 10 digs for Dundee-Crown (4-12, 1-10) in a 25-13, 25-17 Fox Valley Conference loss. Irene Martin added 5 kills and Zoe Sitarz had 11 digs for the Chargers.

Harvest Christian d. South Elgin: In nonconference action, Elizabeth Vedrine had 14 kills and Emily Wellman 11 digs to lead South Elgin in a 19-25, 25-22, 25-18 loss. Hayley Fisher added 8 kills and Casie Swanson had 18 assists for the Storm (11-7).
