Angie Negron's 9 kills and 13 assists from Casie Swanson helped lead South Elgin to a 25-14, 25-17 Upstate Eight Valley win over Bartlett on Tuesday.
Elizabeth Vedrine and Kendall Richardson both served 3 aces for the Storm (11-6, 3-1), and Amelia O'Neal added 5 kills.
Batavia d. Larkin: Cordelia Smith served 7 aces as Batavia tuned up for its match with rival Geneva with a 25-4, 25-11 victory over Larkin in Upstate Eight Conference River action.
Becca Robinson added 5 aces, Hannah Yaconis had 5 kills and Jenna Garrett set 14 assists for Batavia (14-10, 2-1) who will play at Geneva on Thursday.
