Vernon Hills d. Deerfield: At Vernon Hills Golf Course, the host Cougars shot a 177, their lowest score in coach Stephen Downey's two seasons, and beat the Warriors (187) in a Central Suburban League match.
Maja Mirjanic led Vernon Hills with a 4-over-par 40. Grace Im had a 42, Jacki Park shot a 43, and Bayasa Hayanhirvaa added a 52. Mirjanic and Park recorded their lowest home match rounds of the season.
Lakes d. Grant: At Midlane Country Club, the Eagles carded a 212 to beat the Bulldogs (227) and remain undefeated in the Northern Lake County Conference.
Lakes' Camryn Jones was the medalist with a 44. Lakes (6-1) improved to 5-0 in the NLCC, while Grant fell to 4-1 in the conference.
"Proud of the effort that our girls put forth today," Eagles coach Nick Aguina said. "We were able to play competitively and come out with the win. Our last three matches different ladies are stepping up to get the job done. I'm glad to see our girls be successful when they are presented with an opportunity. "
Prospect d. Libertyville: At Mount Prospect Golf Club, the host Knights (172) defeated the Wildcats (191) in nonconference action.
Prospect's Kelly Kavanagh was the medalist with a 41.
Libertyville was paced by Maggie Burnetti's 44 and Grace Boileau's 45.
