Girls volleyball: West Aurora downs Oswego East
Kendra Battle had 8 kills and a block Wednesday to lead the West Aurora girls volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-22 nonconference win over Oswego East.
Olivia McPherson (2 aces, 4 kills), Ally Riggs (3 aces, 3 kills, 16 assists, 1 block) and Chloey Myers (2 aces, 4 kills, 1 block) also contributed to the win for the Blackhawks (3-5).
