Football: Eder is in at Lakes
Lakes has named Jordan Eder as its new football head coach.
Eder is a physical education teacher at Antioch, where he is completing his second year as an educator and assistant football coach. He was the football head coach at Round Lake for two years before joining District 117 at the start of the 2015-2016 school year.
"The Lakes family is excited to watch Jordan develop our student-athletes both on and off the field," Lakes athletic director Kurt Rowells said. "Jordan's passion, integrity and family values are the ideal fit for our students and community."
Eder replaces Luke Mertens, the only football head coach in Lakes' 12-year history, who left to become the head coach at Lake Zurich.
