Neuqua Valley 3, WW South 2:
The Wildcats (18-0-1, 11-0) scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth to sweep in the DuPage Valley. James Kulak picked up the win with 6 innings of work, striking out seven. Mason LeBreck got the save. Evan Ranneklev and Jack Rigoni had 2 hits. Caleb Larson struck out eight in 5⅔ innings for WW South (6-12, 3-8).
Naperville Central 9, Waubonsie Valley 1:
A 6-run bottom of the first inning helped the Redhawks (11-6, 7-5) roll to the DuPage Valley victory. Winning pitcher Ryan Eiermann struck out eight in 5 innings. Kyle Bennington and Aaron Szczepanski went 2-for-4. Connor Yukna had 2 hits for Waubonsie Valley (9-8, 5-7).
Naperville North 7, Lake Park 1:
The Huskies (7-8, 7-2) swept in the DuPage Valley. Cliff Vickers and Brennan Simek drove in 2 runs as seven players had hits in support of winning pitcher Matt McCabe.
Benet 9-1, St. Patrick 6-4:
The Redwings (13-4, 4-1) split in the East Suburban Catholic as Marty Dosen won the opener with a 3-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning. Dosen drove in 5 runs in the game and scored 3 runs. Anthony Adams was the winning pitcher in relief.
York 2, Downers South 1:
Ryan Ross' 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh broke up the shutout and won the game for the Dukes (16-2). Joey Chiappetta was the winning pitcher in relief. Brett Riegler's sacrifice fly gave Downers South (12-7) a brief lead in the top of the seventh.
Hinsdale Central 8, Leyden 7:
After surrendering 5 runs that tied the game in the top of the seventh, the Red Devils (9-3) pulled out the victory on Peter Pigatti's game-winning sacrifice fly. J.P. Medick drove in 3 runs.
