Ribs come with side of music at Little Bear fest in Vernon Hills

Ribs and the blues were served up Saturday during the Vernon Hills Park District's sixth annual Little Bear Ribfest

The two-day fest kicked off Friday night in Century Park.

BBQ'd Productions Bar & Grill, Uncle Bub's, Smokin' T's, Real Urban Barbecue, The Full Slab Smokehouse and Bar and Big Ed's Bar & Grill offered their version of barbecue. The Mundelein/Vernon Hills/Lincolnshire Rotary Club was the official roasted corn vendor with Bobo's providing dessert options.

Saturday's musical entertainment was provided by Red, White & Blues Band, Chicago Blues Super Session and Mark Hummel and the Golden State/Lone Star Revue.
