Piano and vocal duo set to perform at Adler Center in Libertyville
Piano and vocal duo Jenny Cook and Richard Lowe will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, as part of a concert series at the David Adler Music and Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.
The duo are faculty members at Adler and perform regularly with the Songs by Heart Foundation, an organization that brings professional musicians to memory care facilities to improve residents' quality of life. Their improvisational approach to the classics includes works by Gershwin, Debussy, and Beethoven.
Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for Adler members and $10 for students. They're available at www.adlercenter.org. Seating is limited.
