Steve Lundy is a staff photographer for the Daily Herald and has been working in the Lake County bureau for 10 years. His daily duties include covering news, features and Neighbor assignments. Lundy specializes in sports photography and has been assigned to cover the NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, the PGA, NLCS, MLB All Star Game and numerous playoff games in Chicago.

Lundy brings that same level of photography skill to prep sports section where his pictures enhance the sports pages of the Daily Herald every day. His work has been honored by such organizations as the National Press Photographers Association, Chicago Press Association, the Illinois Press Photographers Association, Associated Press, Inland, Lisagor and the Illinois Press Association. Lundy's other passion is videography. He has been a leader in developing programming for the Daily Herald's website including a weekly show covering prep football called Football Focus. Lundy graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor's degree in communications and studied under Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist John H. White.
