Bob LeGere

Chicago Bears Beat Writer

Bob LeGere has been covering the Chicago Bears and the NFL for the Daily Herald since 1993. Prior to that, he worked at Pro Football Weekly for 12 years covering the NFL.

He grew up in Elmhurst following some horrible Bears and Cubs teams.

Unfortunately he is old enough to remember the Bears' 1963 world championship, and the memory of the Cubs' collapse in 1969 is still a bitter one.

He spends way too much time at ESPN.com, paying particular attention to Len Pasquarelli's NFL stories.
