Bev Horne, staff photographer in the DuPage office, has been with the Daily Herald since 1990. She freelanced with the Herald for a year before going full-time. She belongs to Illinois Press Photographers Association and National Press Photographers Association. Bev has won awards in AP, IPPA and Lisagor, including a first place for a story on international adoption. She graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in German.
