Walk-ins welcome Wednesday at vaccination clinic in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights Park District will distribute 500 single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses to residents 18 and older during a COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic Wednesday.

Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointments are necessary, between noon and 4 p.m. at the Arlington Ridge Center, 660 N. Ridge Ave.

Those who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine during the park district's April 28 clinic should arrive at the same appointment time as they did for their first dose to receive their second dose. Those second shots will be given between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The clinic is being hosted by the park district in partnership with the village, library, Rotary Club and Jewel-Osco.
