Ex-Kane County Board member appointed Algonquin village clerk
Former Kane County Board member Maggie Auger has been appointed the interim village clerk for Algonquin.
She replaces longtime clerk Jerry Kautz, who died in October. Auger's term will run through April.
Auger has served on the village's economic development and planning and zoning commissions. She is a lawyer.
