Inaugural art walk in Grayslake
The Grayslake Arts Alliance will host its inaugural Art Walk from Oct. 24 to 31. The work of 21 member artists will be showcased at 14 local businesses. Art Walk is running in conjunction with the "Be a Tourist in Your Own Town" event put on by the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum. Visit https://www.villageofgrayslake.com/385/Heritage-Center for information and tickets. The art walk is free. More than 50 pieces will be on display, including pastels, acrylics, photography, mixed media and more. All work will be available for purchase at grayslakeartsalliance.org/. A portion of the proceeds benefit the nonprofit organization.
