Gurnee, Warren High Black Student Union to host voter registration event
The village of Gurnee and the Warren Township High School Black Student Union are partnering for a voter registration drive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Viking Park. Those interested in stopping by to register need to bring any official form of identification that includes the voter's first and last name to the event. The event will feature a musical performance by local band Ax and the Hatchetmen, the members of which come from three different area high schools. There will also be speeches by notable guests as well as raffles, according to the village website. Masks are required to attend the event and social distancing will be enforced.
