Greer appointed as trustee to Winfield Village Board
Robert Greer was appointed as a trustee to the Winfield Village Board on Thursday. Greer will serve until April 30, completing the term of Trustee Phillip Mustes who resigned on Sept. 3.
Greer was previously a trustee from 2015 to 2019, and was formerly a member of Plan & Zoning Commission.
Village President Erik Spande's appointment of Greer was unanimously approved in a four-trustee vote at Thursday's village board meeting.
Former Winfield Trustee James McCurdy also resigned on Sept. 3, in part due to medical reasons.
Winfield residents are being sought for the remaining open trustee position, which is appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. For more information, visit villageofwinfield.com.
