Naperville opens Midday Spray at Rotary Hill
Naperville Park District is launching a new free event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays in July at Rotary Hill, overlooking the downtown Riverwalk and Millennium Carillon.
The Midday Spray, which opens Thursday, July 9. features a sprinkler that gives off a cooling mist.
"We hope families will enjoy bringing a picnic lunch to Rotary Hill, where kids can run through the water and cool off on these hot summer days," Executive Director Ray McGury said.
Prior to attending, residents are asked to review the COVID-19 Participation Guidelines for Outdoor events located on the park district's COVID-19 webpage at napervilleparks.org. In case of a weather-related cancellation, check https://www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations.
