Hoffman Estates hosts virtual town hall on diversity July 9

The village of Hoffman Estates will host a virtual town hall meeting titled "Forward Together" based on its respect for diversity at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 9.

Mayor William D. McLeod and the village board invite residents to participate in the online gathering to openly discuss issues of justice in policing, racial concerns, and diversity and inclusion in the community, as well as the impact of the Black Lives Matter movement in Hoffman Estates.

A panel of esteemed community representatives will be moderated by the Rev. Larry Bullock, MPA, MDiv., senior pastor at Living Faith Cathedral Worship Center Church in Palatine.
