Hersey club keeps spreading the love with traveling show

Hersey High School's Love Bus made its annual stop at the Arlington Heights Senior Center just days before Valentine's Day to spread some holiday joy.

Hosted by the school's Service Over Self Club, the traveling show has been a Hersey tradition for a half-century, in which students visit local seniors and stage a half-hour variety performance.

One of the bus' regular annual stops is the senior center, where busloads of students arrived Wednesday afternoon to show off their talents, from musical and choral groups to cheerleaders and Orchesis dancers.
