Mundelein police host fishing derby July 13
Mundelein police will host the 22nd Cops 'N' Bobbers fishing derby from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 13, at the Mundelein seminary, 1000 East Maple Ave.
The lake will be stocked with sunfish and a limited amount of bait and poles will be available. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
A fishing license is not required for anyone under 16. Adults can assist their child without a license but must have one if fishing.
There also will be a raffle drawing and prizes for the biggest fish, smallest fish and the most fish caught. There is no cost for the event. The first 100 children will get a T-shirt.
