Bartlett police announce two promotions

The Bartlett Police Department has announced the recent promotions of Rob Sweeney to commander and Tammy Schulz to sergeant.

Sweeney has been with the department since 2005 and was promoted to sergeant in 2016. He has been selected as the department's Police Officer of the Year and earned Life Saving and Spirit Awards.

Sweeney will serve as one of the patrol commanders.

Schulz has been with the department since 1993 and served as a detective, crime prevention officer, D.A.R.E. instructor, evidence technician, and the Eastview Middle School resource officer.

She will serve as one of the sergeants in the patrol division.
