Tickets on sale now for 15th annual Uncork Barrington wine festival

Tickets are now on sale for Uncork Barrington, a charitable wine-tasting event set from 6 to 9:30 p.m. July 12 at the Barrington Metra station's tent pavilion. Celebrating its 15th year, Uncork Barrington typically attracts about 900 patrons from the village and beyond to sample wines from around the world, enjoy live entertainment and support worthy community organizations. General admission tickets are $40 in advance or $50 the day of the event. Admission includes access to at least 50 wines, 20 one-ounce tasting pours, a souvenir wine glass and more. There also are $90 VIP tickets with extras such as several high-end wines, dedicated food and a special tent. All guests must be at least 21 years old to attend.
