GiGi's Playhouse's Gianni to keynote Barrington-area awards dinner
Officials from the nonprofit Barrington Area Development Council have announced a guest speaker for the annual Citizen of the Year Award dinner.
Nancy Gianni, chief belief officer of GiGi's Playhouse, will keynote the May 8 event at Wild Onion Pub and Brewery's great hall, 22221 N. Pepper Road in Lake Barrington. A reception is set for 6 p.m., followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m.

GiGi's Playhouses are Down syndrome achievement centers. The nonprofit organization is named for Gianni's daughter.
