Students rehearse 'Mary Poppins JR.' until it's practically perfect
Students from Lake Zurich's Seth Paine Elementary School are in their final days of rehearsals for their performances of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's "Mary Poppins JR." The shows take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Lake Zurich High School Performing Arts Center, 300 Church St.
The musical follows the life of Jane and Michael Banks after their new nanny, Mary Poppins, arrives on their doorstep and takes them on magical adventures filled with song and dance.
Tickets are $8 in advance and are available at http://sethpaine.seatyourself.biz/.
