District 15 preparing for major capital projects
Palatine Township Elementary District 15 officials are preparing for several significant capital projects in 2019-20.
The projects on the table include partial roof replacement at Walter R. Sundling Junior High School, univent replacement at Lincoln Elementary School and classroom carpet replacement at Virginia Lake Elementary School.
The state of Illinois' evidence-based funding formula guarantees that no district will receive less in state money than it did in the prior school year. District 15's appropriation for the current 2018-19 academic season is $16.515 million. Officials said that base amount will be used in the 2019-20 budget year.
