Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl, Blind Boys of Alabama, Boyz II Men coming to Paramount

Paramount Theatre announced today four new shows that will bring a celebration of Mexican folkloric dance, gospel music, the artistry of ancient China and the best selling R&B group of all time to downtown Aurora.

The Mexican folk dance troupe Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl will return to the Paramount Thursday, Oct. 25. Tickets are $18-$28.

Shen Yun will perform classical Chinese dance, set to orchestral music and featuring authentic costumes, from Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 10-13. Tickets are $80 to $200.

On Friday, Jan. 18, The Blind Boys of Alabama will take the stage. Winners of five Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award, they perform songs by artists including Valerie June, Phil Cook and the North Mississippi Allstars as well as gospel standards. Tickets are $30 to $50.

Boyz II Men round out the schedule on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The R&B artists, with hits like "End of the Road" and "I'll Make Love to You," have countless awards, including four Grammys, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time. Tickets are $59 to $140.

Tickets go on sale to Paramount subscribers starting at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4.
