Getting down and dirty at Elburn Days

Elburn Days wrapped up in down and dirty fashion Sunday as a hard-fought mud volleyball tournament highlighted the final day of the three-day festival.

The fest is the largest annual fundraiser for the Elburn Lions Park and Elburn Lions charities. It's run by volunteers and celebrates community service and volunteerism. This year's theme was "Serving Our Community through Vision, Literacy and Wellness."

Besides mud volleyball, Sunday's highlights included an ice cream eating contest and performances by The Neverly Brothers and American English.
