Blood, food drive in Bartlett July 28

The village of Bartlett and Bartlett Rotary Club will host their National Night Out Annual Blood Drive in conjunction with the prescription drug drop-off and the school supplies, pet food and supplies, and canned and packaged food drive from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 28, inside village hall, 228 S. Main St.

Blood drive donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by visiting heartlandbc.org or by contacting Heartland Blood Center's representative Patti Hill at pathill@heartlandbc.org or (800) 7TO-GIVE. Walk-in appointments also are available. All donors will receive a free National Night Out T-shirt.

Potential blood drive donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be symptom-free of cold, flu and allergies, and be in general good health. The donation process takes about an hour from start to finish.
