Team Unicorn wins Des Plaines Cardboard Boat Regatta

The Des Plaines Park District held its annual Cardboard Boat Regatta Saturday at Iroquois Pool, 2423 Maple St.

As usual, people assembled crews, created a semi-waterproof cardboard boat, and raced against other teams in the family-friendly regatta.
