Learn how you can help the tree population in your community and how they are helping you at Green Drinks Libertyville, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at O'Toole's Libertyville, 412 North Milwaukee Ave.

Lydia Scott, director of the Chicago Region Trees Initiative - founded by the Morton Arboretum in Lisle - discusses the importance of trees.

The initiative is a regional collaborative of organizations working to improve the health of the urban forest in the region. Green Drinks Libertyville is held the second Tuesday of the month.
