Public hearing June 28 for roadwork in Barrington, Deer Park
Lake County Division of Transportation officials will host the last of three public hearings next week for an intersection improvement study of Ela Road and Long Grove Road in Barrington and Deer Park.
The open house session will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main Street. Visitors are asked to use the gymnasium entrance at the rear of the building.
Officials said the purpose of the public hearing is to present the preferred alternative for the proposed intersection improvement and gather feedback from the public. The study was initiated to address intersection safety, existing capacity and pedestrian and bicyclist accommodations in the project area.
