Lots of choices for shoppers at Grayslake's farmers market

More than 70 vendors lined Center Street in downtown Grayslake for the weekly farmers market.

The market, which bills itself as Lake County's longest-running and largest evening market, runs every Wednesday through Sept. 26. It continues with a fall market that runs Sept. 29 through Dec. 15 and a spring market April 7 to May 26.

Various produce items were on sale, as well as pastries, cheese, wine and fun activities for kids.
