Gurnee Park District to host info meeting about Shaw Park work
Gurnee residents will have a chance to learn about the upcoming playground renovation at Shaw Park from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12. The meeting will be an opportunity for residents to have their questions about the work answered. Construction at Shaw Park is expected to start in July and be ready for the fall. The renovations will provide new age-specific equipment, Kraig Owens the park district's safety supervisor said. The meeting will be at the picnic area near the playground.
