Sesame Street Live! coming to Rosemont in October

Tickets go on sale to the general public June 12 for "Sesame Street Live! Let's Party!" Oct. 12-14 at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont.

A presale is underway for the eight performances over three days: 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 12; 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 13; and 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 14.

The show features new and familiar songs, like "I Love Trash" and "C is for Cookie," with Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster; dancing with Elmo; a wintry wonderland when Abby Cadabby's magic goes awry; take flight with Big Bird to learn about some of his fabulous feathered friends; and new cultures in an interactive Spanish lesson with Rosita.

An up-close-and-personal preshow experience will be offered at an additional charge prior to select performances, allowing families the opportunity to tour the onstage neighborhood of their favorite, furry friends before they arrive for the main show.
