Applications available for open District 25 board seat
Arlington Heights Elementary District 25 on Friday started taking applications from those interested in being appointed to an open seat on the board.
Candidates have until 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, to submit a letter of application and resume addressed to Board President Brian Cerniglia, Arlington Heights School District 25, 1200 S. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Applications are available at the district office and at sd25.org/BoardOfEducation.
The prospective board member, to be chosen by the rest of the board, will serve until the April 2019 election, filling the remainder of the term of 11-year board member Diana Chrissis. She resigned May 10, citing her inability to continue meeting the position's time commitments with the amount of travel her job requires.
