This is a picture of one of the many hot water pools in Yellowstone National Park's geyser basins. I took this photo about four years ago. The water temperatures are usually between 180 and 212 degrees. The colors come from bacteria that grow in the hot water. People have fallen into these and died. Pretty but deadly.
