Barrington Film Festival set for Saturday, May 19

The second annual Barrington Film Festival will be at noon Saturday, May 19, at Catlow Theater, 116 W. Main St. in downtown Barrington. The festival is co-sponsored by the Barrington Cultural Commission and is organized by Tim Troemner and Catlow owner Tim O'Connor. The organizers solicited short-film submissions from independent filmmakers in the Chicago area and have selected 11 films in the categories of narrative, experimental and documentary to be shown at the festival. Some films may contain adult language, some violence and adult situations. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door. For more information, visit thecatlow.com.
