Introducing a new column on long-term grief and healing

Next week, we introduce a new Monday column by Susan Anderson-Khleif meant to help widows and widowers cope with long-term grief.

The overwhelming personal feedback we received to our recent series on coping with the death of a spouse underscored how difficult this life passage is for so many widows and widowers.

Anderson-Khleif's column is a response to that, and if grief is an area of concern in your life, we hope you'll find it interesting, healing and useful.

Anderson-Khleif is a widow and retiree from Sleepy Hollow with a Ph.D. in family sociology from Harvard University.

Her column will post Mondays on dailyherald.com.

As always, thank you for reading.
