3 injured in Des Plaines crash
Three people were injured in a head-on crash Thursday night in Des Plaines, authorities said.
About 7 p.m. Thursday, two cars collided near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Rand Road, according to Des Plaines Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Wozny. Two people were taken to the hospital in serious condition and a third was treated for nonlife-threatening injuries, Wozny said.
Wozny said he wasn't immediately able to give more details about the crash.
Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation and declined to provide additional information.
